Facial redness and visible vessels are incredibly common skin concerns, yet many people don’t fully understand what they are or why they develop.
Persistent redness, flushing, telangiectasia and visible capillaries can develop due to genetics, chronic inflammation, rosacea, environmental exposure and vascular instability within the skin.
In clinic, we use Vascu Clear, our long-pulsed 1064nm Nd:YAG vascular laser treatment to target a range of superficial and deeper vascular concerns within the skin.
The 1064nm wavelength allows for deeper penetration while selectively targeting haemoglobin within the vessel. Combined with longer pulse durations, this allows controlled heating of the vessel to support vascular coagulation while aiming to minimise unnecessary trauma to surrounding tissue.
